2008 year marks the 11th year for the North East Amateur Tour.
Tournament of Champions
Tournament of Champions is scheduled in October and completes the 2008 NEAT season.
Great Value
The North East Amateur Tour conducts more county golf championships than any other
golf organization in the area.
All tournaments are played on the finest golf courses
available in the area. The NEAT is a great value;
you definitely get more golf and fun for your money on the North East Amateur Tour.
Eligibility & Skill Level
All amateur golfers over the age of 13 are eligible to participate in any or all
events this year. Individual tournaments will be flighted according to score,
giving you the opportunity to compete against players of your own skill level.
Prizes
Gift certificates and prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in all flights.
Senior divisions for those fifty and over will be flighted according to the number
of entries received for each event.
Player of the Year Award
NEAT players will also compete for the Player of the Year Award,
based on points accumulated from each tour event played. This is your chance to
compete against other golfers of your own skill level and have the opportunity
to play under tournament conditions just like the other major golf tours.
