Farewell and best of luck to all the members of the North East Amateur Tour

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank ALL the individuals that in the pat 10 years have participated on the North East Amateur Tour. We have had a great run in ten years, but all good things must come to an end. It is with mixed emotions that I have made the decision that we will no longer conduct amateur golf tournaments on the NEAT. 10 years is a long time, I have made many new friends, hold great memories and will always know that because of our efforts golf tournaments in this area are now better planned and hopefully will continue to offer the participants what they deserve for their entry fees.

The NEAT was a tremendous innovator of new and different golf events. We were always ahead of the curve in bringing fun and exciting golf tournaments to the Northeast Indiana area. Because of this I am quite proud. I am also quite proud to know that the NEAT conducted all of these events with just a staff of three VERY hard working individuals and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mark Bonner and Brad Bodette for their compete and tireless efforts. I would also like to thank you the members of our tour that supported us from day one. The names are much too numerous to mention here, but you know who you are, and all of you were not afraid of scorn or criticism for playing on our new tour.

I will miss the camaraderie and the venues, but most of all I will miss the great players and superb competition that was prevalent on the NEAT. I wish you all the best of success not only in golf, but in life as well. Hopefully I will see some of you of the links and we can again share some of the great stories and relive some of the many great times and memories that were had on the NEAT
